Acne and Scars? No Worries!

Of late, have you been ignoring the acne on your face? Have friends or family members tried to helpfully provide medicinal tips to deal with your acne? The wisest thing to do is to diagnose the cause of your acne, because if left untreated it may lead to pitting scars on your face.

Like any disease, many people around the world are affected by this condition. Acne also commonly affects teenagers and people aged 25 to 30 and 80% of the victims are women. Nobody likes to have any scars on their bodies, let alone the face which is the most visible part, and the appearance of acne scars can be quite distressing for those affected. The good news is it can be treated when properly diagnosed and when medication is taken on time as per the dosage prescribed by a GP or dermatologist.

Not all acne leads to scarring, as many would assume. Some people need mild treatment, like avoiding direct sunlight and by taking lots of water, while others may require medical treatment depending on the severity.

Though some opt for alternative medicines, allopathic is one of the most preferred medicines for acne and scars. It is recommended that you consult with your doctor about the potential side effects of any medication before consuming the dosage as some people may be prone to them.

Your diet and food habits can be one of the primary causes for acne. Occasional intake of fried and oily food is fine in moderation but when it becomes a habit your skin starts showing damaging symptoms. It’s a good habit to keep track of your food intake and avoid those foods that your body rejects. Remember - prevention is better than cure.
