Wesley Snipes, the actor who performed in the famous Blade trilogy, in a number of classic comedy movies and many other actions, has finally been read his judgement in an appeal case this weekend. Snipes was convicted of fraud related to intentionally failing to return tax to the federal tax commission for the period between 1999 and 2001 which incurred significant dis balance as the actor earned more that 34 million US dollars for that period.
Still a lot is to happen with the case of the actor. Or at least this is what his attorney has implied since after the final judgement was read by a judge in a US court, the quite unhappy defender announced his intention (in relation to the wishes of his client) that he would appeal the outcome in the US Supreme Court. However, the facts remain quite foggy as little is known about the conduct of Mr Snipes and whether he intentionally hid the large amount of tax he was to return to the US services.
Contrary to the words of his defender, in the other hand, the judge it was hightime for the actor to show up and take his sentence seriously as he has three years in a federal prison. Mr Snipes, however, did not show for the trial himself as under the motive he was picturing a movie in another state. This again raised questions as to the belief the actor holds himself and whether his liability is fair according to himself. People still argue that the sentence in relation to the fraud is reasonable since Mr Snipes could have been in much more serious problems if he had not been cleared of the conspiracy and more serious fraud charges raised on him in the initial trial at first instance.
