Hiring a new guy

Well I have just done my first interview and to be honest it wasn't that hard we just just chatted really, he wasn't that profience. He is what I would like to describe as a motivated school leaver. Someone who I can mold to fit in with how I see the system working!!
It was odd to see the CV it had sections like this:


During school I was made a prefect because I was trustworthy and a good communicator. I was chosen to represent the school in speaking to local MP Bob Spink and took part in an after school English Extension Course at Seevic College before I enrolled there.



It's the kind of stuff I would write I msuppose but it is very odd to be the interviewer rather than the interviewie.

Serious nasal problems

Except for cramped quarters and a man behind me who had some serious nasal problems (he sat by me, changed his mind, and then sat behind me - lucky me!) my trip was cool. Oh yeah, i would not advise taking the bus on a friday night or saturday evening. No empty seats friday night. Lincoln tunnel madness saturday.



But it was an adventure. It was spontaneous - well, sort of. It was fun. I got to see the james muppet and miss heidi as well as my long-lost buddy claire - she's a honey. Everyone was soooo sweet to me. I crashed at smith, which is really lovely, although i did remember why i was glad to have moved off-campus originally - vomit on the front porch and led zeppelin at 3am plus much screaming. In amherst the next day was extravaganja, which was weird, to say the least. Lots of white teenagers with bad dreads, lots of hemp and deadhead products, some families of assorted natures, and lots of squishy doggies. Also a band that covered, among other classics, mr. Wendell by arrested development. Plus a long lecture from a droning libertarian. All in all, Good Clean Fun for the Whole Family.




Saturday night was also an adventure. I am all about frigging adventures these days. However the joey ramone vigil at cbgb's is making me very sad.




The parentals are whooping it up in the bahamas for dad's 74th. They bought straw hats and danced in the town square; my mom even got her hair braided! It makes me very happy to know that they are finally living for themselves, and i can't wait to see the pictures. Send some major positive vibes for the mama quitting smoking after 50+ years and maybe i can convince to go ahead and take yoga after all.




In other news, my neighbors confronted me last night about whether or not they "bothered" me - there's some legal stuff pertaining to this i won't go into, but suffice it to say little meek me was just like, um, well i HEAR you... It wasn't so much that i was afraid of them as that i didn't want to hurt their feelings, which is, if you've ever heard them screaming at each other and throwing shit, ludicrous of me. Overall, a lesson to me to be more honest. Maybe.

I discovered something hysterical on google today that has lots of truth behind it. Somebody posted a petition against pop chavs and those who made them famous � don't you think it is about time someone said something? I couldn't agree more about these talentless small brats that are using up far too much space on the radio waves. Whatever happened to a group finding success because it actually has talent? When I use the word talent, I am not talking concerning wiggling boobs and prancing around on stage whilst acting as if they are singing. The band should be able to sing, or be profieceint at a least one instrument. Could you imagine Nipple Erectors, Flowers Of Romance, or FX getting on stage with nothing however pasties on and showing off their tits? They sure do not! And they don't have to since these groups have talent. These brainless morons can't sing are being forcible fed to the masses and I'm sick to the back teeth with it! I have been back to working on some crazy e-shot stuff today, god understand what upto we been adding a huge amount of XML integration. Just when you think something finished, they just have to add a whole load of new add ons.
I've now completely completed the online games scoring system and am just waiting for my next project. Therefore hanging around blogging. I'm now going to be going back to a old project that gotsome new features in the pipe line. Eshot "the most comrehensive Emailshot solution" 's catch-phrase not mine! As soon as you think something completely finished, they just have to add a whole load of new gizmos.

Blogger version 2

Google have released a second version of blogger. Probable a little while back, I clearly haven't been paying that much attention. I was totally going to update my log, however I don't seem to be able to use my tool to upload post to it.
Bit stumped to be honest. They can't have just cut me off!!!
